Riana Patel

 

Riana is a core surgical trainee working in England. She graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine & Dentistry in 2017, and subsequently worked as an Academic Foundation Doctor in the Oxford Global Surgery Group from 2017-2019. She has also done extensive volunteer work particularly in a paediatric surgery partnership with a Tanzanian hospital.

 

Taylor Ottesen

 

Taylor completed his medical education at Yale School of Medicine in the United States followed by a business degree from The University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. He is currently an orthopaedic surgery resident at the Harvard Combined program with an emphasis on increasing access to orthopaedic care on a global scale. He currently works with several organizations to expand healthcare access and understanding including the World Health Organization, National Health Service (UK), Ukrainian Institute on Public Health and Policy, Doctors Without Borders, and Siemens Healthineers.
